In class we began working with our groups to brainstorm conflicts the characters have faced and to what degree, if any, they have found resolution. If you were not in class today, you missed participation points. You can get points for the second part of the assignment when we follow up on 4/30. If you miss both days, download the charts and do this work on your own, filling in additional information as you read chapter 10. You'll miss the participation points for both days, but you can salvage the actual assignment points!

Also, it will help to begin at the BOTTOM of the family tree (you know who is the youngest member of the family, then go up to her parents, then connect to her mother's brother, etc.) Remember, also that the play takes place in 1937 so the date-of-birth in each box can help too! On the timeline, the second timeline (the "Years Later" part) starts with "Boy Charles develops an obsession over the piano." Also, the heavy line on the second timeline is the chronological beginning of the play's story ("Robert Sutter's grandson dies").
